Pricing
We don’t like surprises and we know you don’t either so we have flat rate pricing on all of our engines. If you need anything from the valve covers out we’ll give you a call with pricing before we do anything. If you can get it cheaper then by all means do it. Just keep in mind….things move pretty quickly around here once we start building your engine. One day we’re building it and the next day it’s going in. On the day of the install its next to impossible to get anything to us so we will do everything in our power to get the information to you before hand.

All engines come with a 2 year / 24k miles, whichever comes first, warranty.
We also have a 3 year / 36k miles, whichever comes first, warranty at an additional cost to you.
All prices include installation.
Free one-way towing if your vehicle is within the Phoenix Metropolitan Area.
All vehicles outside the Phoenix Metropolitan Area you pay the tow driver a fee and we will credit 1/2 of it back to your invoice.
We give you all fluids, spark plugs, water pump, oil pump and oil filter.
Your block is bored up to 30+ over and the crank is turned 10/10. The heads are completely rebuilt and peened. If your components require machining outside of these parameters or the metal is warped due to overheating, you will be charged a core charge.
For most vehicles these fees START at $500 for the Block, and/or $300 for the Crank, and/or $200 for each Head/or Heads if they are warped or cracked.
Some vehicles may require additional charges.
Some vehicle components are difficult or next to impossible to find and/or may require longer time than usual to get them.
EVERY effort will be made so you will not have to bear the burden of these costs.
Please be aware that the price quoted refers to the long block only.
Once your engine is pulled you will receive a call to discuss what we found in your motor and if you will have core charges.
From the valve covers out are the original components from your vehicle. All efforts will be made to ensure the proper operating use of those components. In the event it is found a replacement is needed TEB will contact you prior to obtaining the parts for your approval.
Keep in mind that things move pretty fast once we start building your engine so if parts aren’t at our office the day prior to your build it will be too late so get your parts in to us as soon as possible.
We do not do electrical work, brake systems, power steering, Air Conditioning or fuel system work. We do engines.
If we decide that your problem is beyond our capabilities we will have a Automotive Electrician come to diagnose your vehicle. You will be responsible for his charges so we will first call you for approval.
If you have any transmission work to be done, we will R&R it for a small fee and it will remain your choice whom you want to take it to for rebuilding.
Let me get the legal wording out of the way...
The Engine Builders may have provided you a time frame in which you could expect your vehicle to be done. This time line should be considered an estimate and is subject to the availability of the necessary parts and components required for your vehicle.
That said, Covid has shaken the world up right to its core. Many of us have lost a family member, in some cases family memberS. Many of us have lost our jobs, our homes, our community. Our sense of security. Our identity. We all have been affected in some huge way by Covid.
We were forced early on to take a look at how we do business.
Would we grow and would we continue to provide the level of workmanship that our customers had grown accustomed to.
We knew that there would be adjustments along the way.
We just didn’t know what Covid would bring to the retail business table.
Let me give you an example:
We’ve been in business for 10 years. We’ve built over 5000 engines.
The Dodge, Chevy, Ford, and the Toyota dealer ALWAYS had the parts we needed. When they didn’t, they went to another local dealer and picked it up for us so we would have our parts that day.
Since Covid, their inventory is depleted. To get my parts it had gone from a couple of days to a couple of weeks to a couple of months! Manufacturers slowed down to a skeleton crew or had gone belly up. No forewarning. No heads up. BIG manufacturers. They needed parts and for awhile it has been better. But more and more the most standard every day parts are on back order with no ETA.
A local aftermarket store used to keep the stuff we got from them in stock so they would have it when I called. Thousands of dollars. I was their number one Platinum customer. Yesterday, I ordered spark plugs and a oil filter for a 05 F150 5.4 3v and they both had to be special ordered, and Expedited, so a customer didn’t have to wait nearly a week to get his vehicle.
